🥒✨ Big news from Benicia Fermentory! You can now find my pickle and sauerkraut kits at Home Sewn in Vallejo!

This is a special milestone for me because Home Sewn is the first retail location to carry Benicia Fermentory kits outside of the Fallen Fruit Farms farm stand and the Benicia Farmers Market.

A huge thank you to Monique for supporting local makers and welcoming Benicia Fermentory into her beautiful shop. Small businesses thrive when we support one another, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the creative community she’s building at Home Sewn.

If you haven’t visited yet, Home Sewn is a wonderful new fabric and gift shop filled with inspiration, handmade goods, unique gifts, and plenty of reasons to linger and explore.

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect at my first Benicia Farmers Market… but by the end of the night, Benicia Fermentory had nearly sold out of fermentation kits. 🥒

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth — whether you grabbed a pickle kit, signed up for the email list, or simply came by to chat.

It was incredible meeting so many people excited about fermentation, homemade food, and learning old-school preservation skills again.

I’ll be back again this Thursday with:
